A question for the k9 couples...
How many of you have started a family while the female partner was also regularly active? My ex and I have two boys (now grown). Both were conceived when she was very active with our beloved Doberman at the time. I would say almost zero chance that either was conceived without canine sperm being present alongside mine. So appperantly no interference (ie. be warned, don't go thinking doggy sex is an effective birth control method!!).
And yes, I am well aware of the reality of the fertility / biology facts. I am not suggesting either of them inherited canine DNA. Though one did always show a desire to chase a stick... we did wonder for a while there.
