K8 definition?

I'm too old to pretend to know things I don't actually know, so... Can someone tell me what "k8" means/stands for? I know what k9 means, I even know what k8s means (for the really geeky folks here), but... k8?

This might have been asked before so apologies in advance, but the search won't work because "k8" is only two characters.

If you think about it, it could mean Kate but it probably doesnt

When I've looked up k8 as slang, "Kate" is the only suggestion I see. But... given the context, I don't think so.

I was thinking typo at first too, or someone who wanted to blog about beastiality but didn't want to trigger getting banned by using the term "k9." But I've seen it often enough to wonder if it's a "thing." Or maybe it's just a purposeful misspelling, like how we used to write "pr0n"...

Depends on the context but if it's at the end of sentences, I think it might be short for "okay-t?", a mix of "okay?" and "alright?"
