This time of year always is odd for me. It makes me sad. 19 years ago I watched the Towers fall. Once I was an adult I enlisted. Yet now I'm being medically retired. I've never been overseas. I have a lackluster career.
It really bothers me. To the point of depression. I would really just like a fellow zoo to chat with. Take my mind off things.
I think the other reason it bothers me. Is because growing up. Fall was/is my favorite season. So it brings back that early 2000s feeling to me. Which was the best time of my life. It makes me very nostalgic. Which in turn. Makes me very sad.
