If you do something considered abusive ( like tugging hard on a dog’s harness) to your pet to make them avoid something dangerous/deadly (like an oncoming car) still considered abuse? (Not saying I’ve done this)
It feels like the same idea as tackling someone out of the way of a car. Is it gonna hurt? Probably. Would it have hurt more to get run over? Definitely.
