They're worth joining if you're searching for a little more content, sure. Just don't expect to be making any conversation, every group I've joined has been totally dead.
Thats fine. I dont really talk much anyways. How exactly do I get enough points though to get into a group? Just make a bunch of threads or posts in different subcategories or what?

I think you have enough now, it took a little while to get permissions when I hit 10 so I'd give it some time.

This is a bit of a weird question. Why wouldn't someone join a group if groups are a feature here on this site?
Because that particular group is not interesting for you?
