I'm just a lurker most of the time, too introverted really, but I've got a question about my cat and I can't think of anywhere else to ask.
I have an unfixed 1 year old female cat. I've had quite a few cats, I even have another unfixed female cat who's only 2 years old. But none of them have ever had heats like my 1 year old female cat, from here on known as L.
I've had L since she was about 8 weeks old so I've had her through every heat. She's always been very hormonal and when her heats first hit it was really obvious that her heats aren't normal.
She's so sexually aggressive/needy she tries to force herself on my partner and I. She'll outright grind herself on us while we pet her when she's in heat. She will ask for rougher and rougher petting to the point you could basically slap her off the bed and she'll still beg you to slap her harder? She gets so wet that she splashes us, sometimes during a petting session and sometimes just suddenly.
Neither my partner nor I really have an interest in cats, or girls even, so this whole thing has been a little weird. I woke up to L trying to mount my face this morning. She's been trying to get us to lick her and she's so determined she dropped down on us to try to catch us off guard.
Our other cats have never been like this, much less this much fluid? Is that normal? Is this like something she should see a vet for? I feel ridiculous taking my cat to the vet saying that she's so wet from sexual arousal I'm concerned for her health.
