Usually the admin will give you a message with the reason. Or threads may be removed if you post the same thing in multiple places. In all cases read the rules and you might find the reason.

It was removed because personals belong in personals. Your other posts, in the personals section, remain in the personals section. I also included a very clear reason as to why it was removed in the "notify poster of reason" box that sends you a notification with the words "please post in the personals section" or "this belongs in personals section, please post there" or "please familiarize yourself with the forum before posting, there is a personals section" or something else to that effect as i don't remember the exact wording.
