Is zoophilia hereditary?

The propensity may be genetic. But like every other hobby, like, dislike or preference people may have, what causes it to activate is not a lock. If you don't let your children in on your fun, accidently or whatever, its not very likely they'll be involved as adults. Much like green eyes, if certain things dont happen in tandem or triplex, or any other plex necessary, it doesn't come to pass.

I don't think my Mom is the type, but then nobody (I hope) thinks I am the type so who knows. It's not a subject that's likely to come up over family dinner ?

I can say my dog's sire really loved having sex with me so maybe humanphilia is hereditary in dogs ?

I have many brothers and sisters, but to my knowledge neither they nor our parents are zoos.
But as one just wrote, it's not a topic we talked about at the dinner table ?

Yeah It would be too hard to tell, it's basically getting into the nature vs nurture debate. Although my cow-friends granddaughters / great granddaughters showed similar interest to her. So if it is hereditary (in animals at least) it's probably a recessive gene.
 
Both of my parents are some sexual deviants and both of them as well as myself have all endured abuse.. maybe it’s nurture for us three? I feel like my mom has or could be convinced.. and my dad’s favorite insult was to tell people to suck a dog dick as if that was normal lmao. He’s probably had girls suck his dogs in the past.. I don’t think anyone who knows him would be surprised about it either.
 
Maybe, but yeah it really could be either or a combination of the two. For me I was more interested in animals long before I was sexually interested or knew I was zoo. So It kind of just developed because I had access and not many human friends. It's probably both for me.
