Is it wrong to have a intercourse with a dog that isnt yours?

Red Zoo

Citizen of Zooville
I live in a family of people that work with dogs, both of my parents have 20y+ of working in that area, as dog walkers, trainers and even daycare in our house. A lot of my parents's clients have male dogs that arent castrated, and those same dogs sometimes are boarded here, and im somewhat of a pet sitter, as in the one that takes care of them while my parents arent home.

Keep in mind: i not going to lie, sometimes i wanted to have sex with them, but i NEVER had any kind of intercourse with any dog that were staying on my house. There are two dogs in specific, a male akita inu and a male bullmastif, that frequently stays here. one of themwe comes here evere weekend, while the other one comes here monthly and in every holiday. both of them arent castrated, are very horny dogs and they like me a lot, because im the one who takes care of them.

While the akita tries to fuck me whenever he has the chance (and he does this with everyone else), the bullmastif usually just tries sometimes and when he is very excited, like after playing a lot and running around, but IN MY OPINION i think its pretty weird to have intercourse with a dog that isnt even mine so i always avoid them and i dont let them try anything with me, but sometimes i wish i could have sex with the as both are very sexy and cool dogs.

What do you think about it? Do you think its super wroing, weird or okay? Both of them are going to stay here next week for a few days, i wanted people's opinions on the subject.

My opinion is that It’s unethical.

Plus, direct quote from the rules:

Threads which pertain to fence hopping or "fencehopping" and owner hopping are forbidden.
Fence hopping =
Trespassing onto someone else's property to have sex with an animal.
Owner hopping = Having sex with animals you have permission to be with, but not have sex with. (e.g. dogsitting, dog walker, stable boy, etc.)

Threads which contain users admitting to or encouraging either will be removed and the user given a warning strike. If a user is caught posting media content with them self (pictures/videos) of either, said media will be removed and said user will be permanently banned. Admitting to prior instances of fence hopping or owner hopping isn't necessarily against the rules, especially if said user expresses remorse for their prior actions and/or doesn't encourage the aforementioned behavior.

It is wrong. What if the dog then tries to mount their actual owner and gets castrated for inappropriate behavior?
If that happens, you are directly responsible for harm done to the dog that otherwise would not happen.

My thought is A, how come this seems to need constant repeating?

And B, if people are making a thread asking the question at all, it seems to me they already know it's wrong and are just looking for random internet asspats of approval for something they know inherently is wrong.

Let alone that you do not have the consent of the actual owner.
It is like if you were watching over someone's parrot and believed you can let him fly outside free and he flew away.
And if the owner is by any chance a zoo, then they might consider their dog a partner and might not wish anyone else to have sex with the dog.
It is wrong on so many levels.

There are risks. The dog getting into trouble by mounting other people is the main one and it is very likely to happen. Why wouldn't a dog that learns mounting humans is fun not go nuts after being encouraged to do it in your care? People sometimes rehome their dog or become estranged from them or punish them or become estranged from them for correctable behavior issues. Those are bad owners but a large percentage of dog owners are no matter what they tell you. There are also less common risks like infection, penile injury, you both being discovered, and more. I've personally dealt with infection and penile injury so they do happen. The injury caused lots of bleeding whenever he woke up and got a morning boner. It took over a month to heal. The owner would not be on the lookout for infections like zoos are and it could become deadly untreated. These are risks you cannot accept because you are not the dog's owner and will not be around to deal with the fallout.

Dog don't need sex to be happy. You can give them the time of their life in your dog boarding facility.
thank you for giving you opinion and not being weirdly and unnecessarily rude. and you are objectively right

Fair points, but on the other hand, I saved a family member's dog from being neutered by giving him a handjob several times. He was sadly too sexually frustrated. Saying that "dogs don't need sex to be happy" is the same as saying that "humans don't need sex to be happy" and I find it quite selfish considering that most of us have sex and/or masturbate ourselves. And I sadly already heard some zoos saying that "they have sex with animals only/primarily for their own pleasure because animals don't need it" and similar things.

Surely an animals life can be more fulfilled by enjoying sexual gratification. That goes from humans over mammals to some birds and probably even further.

But the more differentiated the animals are from a humans perspective, the harder it would be to analyze it's expressed interests and goals - are they instincts or free will? Or both? For mammals it's at least quite easy to understand their active participation (if one actually listens to the interests and expressions of the animal).

Some animals might even get ill (as example prostate enlargement or cancer) from abstinence, same goes for humans - there it is proven that abstinence from sexual activity can increase the risk for specific cancerous or benign growths in reproductive organs.

But:

It is not your animal.
You don't care for them for their lifespan (aside the daycare facility you offer for money, it seems).

You don't decide their health-related aspects: do the owners feed cheap industrial sugary / whey based waste food? Or high quality food made mostly from fresh meat?

You don't decide about their medical check-ups: just the most necessary ones? Or regular check all two weeks for whatever reason there could be (that's something even humans rarely would see as necessary)?

There are so many factors in their life where the direct decisions of the owners have an even bigger influence on lifespan, health, happiness, activities..

If you decided to give in to their sexual interests or even potential needs, that's something which the dog might be situation-bound happy about, but it inflicts your decision on a level which can change the life of the dog, the balance between dog and owner(s) and much more to a worse outcome, like others have written beforehand.

At the end you would just delegate your own responsibility for an acute decision onto the poor dog. And the owner(s).
Another story if the owner(s) knew about your interest and gave their OK, but that's rarely the case. In this case you wouldn't ask here if it is OK.

as tempting as it may sound and feel, don't... you don't know the possible consequences of any of them learning a human can be a viable mate. not to mention it's also dishonest to whoever put them in your care.

it just sucks they're considered property in 99,9% of the world and going "hey, he clearly loves me. let him live with me" is not a thing that can ever happen. falling for animal of someone else is the worst...

In my opinion is not right to have sex with someone else dog. I will never do that. I can be submissive under my own dog, I can be taken by him any time he wants in my home but looking for action with pets who doesn't belong to me? Naah it's against my rules.

In my mind, it's only right if you have the owner's permission.

Does sex just take pleasure from other times (blue balls) to create that high (orgasm) or does it add a net gain of pleasure? For a dog, does getting him hooked on sex so he spends the rest of his days wanting for something he can't take care of himself do him good? No idea.

It all depends on the situation of animal-human.

Ones own animal and both enjoy the participation?

Surely it's a good thing, why not. After all sexual and erotic aspects are an absolutely natural factor of their life and both can as such enjoy participating in those if they are interested in it.

Other persons animal and the other person knows and is fine with it, as such no "doing something behind the owners back"?

That's fine as well, as the owner knows what happens and can understand the situation better. It includes responsibility, but can lead to long-term positive enjoyment on both sides, lowering stress and sexual frustration (which is a thing, even for dogs without any human sexual contact beforehand).

Other persons animal and they not knowing about it?

This resembles the problem written about above, no taken responsibility for the animal, it's development in life and potential bad developments between animal and owner (could lead to castration / sterilizing or different problems). At the end it is something which only gives the human side a (selfish) advantage while the animals side in the future is unclear and missing the human's corresponding responsibility.

It can't solve anything for the future or past, doesn't better the life of the corresponding animal(s), even if they might enjoy the given situation. At the end it just creates potential new problems for the animal and owner.

Even the mentioned "blue ball" problem, which might be temporary - is the result of missing "long-term" responsibility of the human. If that can be avoided by being responsible and not being active in sexual terms with other (unknowing) peoples animals.. that's the best choice in my opinion.

If it was my dog and I found out, I would be furious. Just don't do it. If you have all those facilities and space too then rather get your own pup and build a relationship with them.
