I'm completely confused, and I'm sure this is a popular situation among Forum users, so please let me know.

If you have sexual relations with an animal behind your partner's back, what do you call it?

Or, other side, let's say. Someone is single and has a dog as a sexual partner. A neighbor or other person who has access to the dog somehow discovers secret and begins a sexual relationship without the owner's knowledge.

If you have sexual relations with your own animal without your partner knowing it, then it can be argued either way. Some might say it's cheating because it's sex without the partner knowing. Others would argue that it's not cheating because the animal is not human and therefore the animal doesn't live in the same paradigm of monogamy as humans do.

I will be honest. I think the cheating aspect really depends on both people. The person who had sex with the animal might not see it as cheating, but the person who didn't or doesn't have sex with the animal may see it that way. For example, if my wife has sex with our dog (which she does) and I'm not there, I do not view it as cheating. But I will if she has sex with another man. But that is our situation. This is definitely one of those situations where this depends specifically on the couple/people.

As for someone using your pet for sexual pleasure. Eh,againe depends on the person. One person I know doesnt mind it as long as his dog isn't hurt. Others view it differently. But that one owner needs to know about it. Me if I didnt know about it, I would put it akin to rape. While the dog may have "consented" it is still a dog and I still maintain control of it and it's well being.

As I see it, much is linked to the human intention: stroking the head of the dog is different from stroking the genitals since it would lack the human sexual motivation. Therefore, when I take a dog for a walk and I stroke the dog on the head as a reward for coming to me, or for waiting at the crossing, then that is socially accepted, and not fence hopping. Suppose I take the dog home to have a sexual adventure without the owner knowing about it, then it would be fence hopping, even when the dog consents.

Talking about consent: both male and female animals can consent to sex, so for me there wouldn't be a difference between stroking a cunt or balls. The problem with fence hopping is that the perpetrator (and the animal) can get hurt. And if the animal gets hurt, the owner is the one who then has to pick up the pieces...

I have a question about owner hopping/fence hopping. Because I have intact male dogs, I keep getting asked mainly by females, or their SO, if they can fuck them. They even say I can fuck them in return or do whatever I want, like just watch. Is this considered owner-hopping?

No, it wouldn't be owner-hopping because they ask you (the owner of the dogs) for your permission. It would be owner hopping if these people would have sex with your dogs without asking/telling you.

The difference is petting won't get you banned, fence/owner hopping will.

Threads which pertain to fence hopping or "fencehopping" and owner hopping are forbidden.
Fence hopping = Trespassing onto someone else's property to have sex with an animal.
Owner hopping = Having sex with animals you have permission to be with, but not have sex with. (e.g. dogsitting, dog walker, stable boy, etc.)
Strays = If you can have sex with them you can give them a home. Otherwise no.

Threads which contain users admitting to or encouraging either will be removed and the user given a warning strike. If a user is caught posting media content with them self (pictures/videos) of either, said media will be removed and said user will be permanently banned. Admitting to prior instances of fence hopping or owner hopping isn't necessarily against the rules, especially if said user expresses remorse for their prior actions and/or doesn't encourage the aforementioned behavior.
