intersection of zoos and trans people

I've noticed there's a good amount of trans people on here and a lot of positive reception whenever a trans person posts a pic or video of themselves. I'm so curious if there's some connection between "alternative" identities and "alternative" kinks. like did so many of us realize any porn featuring people like us was always going to be considered as a special kink category instead of just regular porn, so we just said fuck it and went in for a penny out for a pound? is there a pipeline? am I just speaking as a trans zoo who wants to know other trans zoos? I'm not sure but I'd appreciate yalls thoughts

I guess I'm more asking the 2nd one, but the 1st was what got me thinking about it in the first place. the percentage of trans people in a given population is generally a lot lower than people think it is, and yet I see so many on here/so many that are also furries, or something like that. I think you might be onto something about the community aspect. it's a lot harder for a trans person to find community in person the same way that a cis queer person might, so many of us are already used to finding that community online instead.

I guess my question was ultimately, how often do alternative identities intersect and does being a part of one alternative identity mean that you're more likely to find yourself a part of other alternative identities?
