My wife was pretty sheltered growing up and as a result had no idea what kinks turned her on. Not sure, when I was young and the internet a fresh place to explore, I found many works that were amazing that I held onto as long as I could and are now tears in the rain.

What I did with my partner was write my own fiction for her and with her (semi-roleplay, trading off story portions) and this led to some of the hottest times together, with a few times her asking me to "lick her like the wolf in my story." Obviously I can't share those, but it is quite enjoyable to write and express the things you find exciting or arousing about the specific things you're into. Sometimes just finding a way to share the specific feelings about specific parts of a kink or fetish is enough to get someone to understand you and connect.

If you can share that way, honestly and openly, and encourage your partner to do the same, you may open up far more than an animal kink.

That's about as much as any of us could ask for, never push the topic. I've seen stories of great relationships being broken because someone wouldn't let go of a fringe, socially unacceptable kink.
