I truly believe that the only reason so many people hate on zoophilia is because they cant see themself being attracted to an animal

To start off, i have considered myself a zoo for almost 2 years now but have never had any real intercourse with an animal. Anyways I know this is a bit of a popular opinion but I find it very strange how most people instantly discredit zoophilia as being akin to animal abuse or just being some kind of horrific thing when in reality it seems perfectly natural. I have seen so many videos of animals who literally beg for it, and seem to understand the sexual relationship they have with the human. hell, ive even seen a clip once of a german shepherd pulling a man's boxers off with her teeth so she can breed with him. There are many animal abusers out there but those are completely seperate to the peaceful zoophiles who show real love to their pets and have a healthy sexual relationship with one. p.s.Sorry for the rant drank a lot of coffee today.

People like to think they make moral judgements based on reason and evidence but that's not how it works. What comes first is an instinctive 'gut reaction' based on your worldview, upbringing, culture, etc. It's only afterwards that the conscious mind tries to come up with various post hoc arguments and reasons why you like or dislike something.

As you point out most people find the idea of sex with animals disgusting and therefore want it banned but when you ask them to explain why they will typically come up with reasons like "well, it's because animals can't consent", even though they are happy to ignore the issue of consent when it comes to owning pets, neutering them, riding them or eating meat.

It's an outlandish and foreign concept to any non-zoo. And it will never be "normalised". As much as I'm all for trying to give zoos as much freedom as possible I also think trying to get the world to accept us is a total waste of time.

We're always going to have to keep our naughty lifestyles under wraps and it's no big deal, it's supposed to be a private thing anyways.

You make a good point. I honestly think the fact its considered to be naughty or taboo by others kind of makes it more hot anyway. It doesn't matter what people think about it because its between yourself and an animal in your own home.

well they can't get over of seeing potential food as any thing more than that.

I grew up in nature, only difference between friend or food is how well you know each other.

I definitely understand the viewpoint, even from my perspective as a trans woman, my existence is misunderstood much in the same way as being a zoo, such as that I'm just dressing up as a woman to rape women, which is completely untrue just as I don't rape my dog when we have fun times, it's "normal" people misunderstanding someone who's different from them and rather than learn they'd just destroy our existence.
