I think i finally found The One! ?

Today I went to the shelter expecting to make a new lifelong friend but instead I fell head over heels in passionate love! He saw me across the yard when the assistant brought him out to meet us, we locked eyes, and he ran straight into my arms and laid his head on my shoulder, gently nosing my cheek. It was like welcoming my spouse home from war. Tender and deep and sweet. We even shared a French kiss when the paperwork was done ?

His name is Basho (like the poet *swoon*) and I'm so excited to start the rest of our lives together today! I had to tell someone who would understand hehe, so you guys get to witness the mushy butterflies!
