Get a dildo as mentioned above and work on getting your own dog in the future.
I do not know why sharing animals in the zoo community is considered to be somehow easy. People do not share their human partners this way usually, right? Animals are also not sex toys.

You are actually in a good position. You can shape your future life around getting and having a dog and make preparations for that. Unlike trying to get a new dog into an already set state. For example you can make sure you get a flat where dogs are allowed, and set it up so that your puppy will not have access to any drawers, cables, shoes...
