OMG! That is horrible. Can you get a loan or a credit card or anything? I have no idea what I would do in that situation. I would be begging everyone I know to chip in something.

I hope you can get the money

I can't I have bad credit an my friends have donated 140 to the go fund me I work alot just to barely make it by so I'm trying to throw in as much as I can I got like300 in a jar so far

I understand. I am a paycheck to paycheck girl myself.

I hope you can find the funds! Praying for your puppy

Care Credit (https://www.carecredit.com/) works with people with low credit scores and can be used for vet bills. 0% interest, probably for 12-18 months for a bill that large. You might not get approved for enough to cover the entire bill, but it will help. They gave me a $1,200 limit many years ago when I was still struggling with a bad credit rating, was probably 580ish at the time.

I've tried I make to much for them hell I make to much for insurance yet I struggle to take care of my girl and bady the system is fucked
Why is there a "make too much" limit? If someone needs help the program should be open.

Does that mean your supposed to steal if all your options fail?

I just need a pain suggestion I've been micro dosing THC and CBD edibles but

Thats why i dont have children.

The fact they can be used as financial weapons.

It's almost impossible to die from THC overdose and, barring an allergic reaction, I do not believe anybody or anything in the history of history has ever died from CBD. I'd wager you're safe on both fronts.
Thanks mate he's been doing pretty good on only THC/CBD edibles but he was better on the carpofren 25mg but they only gave me 4after telling me he fractured his elbow and I needed a specialist

My boy's on carprofen for general joint issues. It's considered safe long term but for longer than a month they recommend testing liver function every six months or so, since it can be hard on the liver. Regardless, call the vet back and demand a new script. That shit's cheap as fuck and if it helps you should get it.

Careful with the thc/cbd, and if you do find a way to go through with the surgery make sure your vet is aware that your pup was on these. The overall impacts on animals is still undetermined but one thing that is being watched is it can cause dogs to become anemic at times.

Sorry you're going through this. Have you asked your vet to help you keep Bruce comfortable while you're figuring this out? They should be able to do better then CBD/THC. There aren't too many human meds that will be both safe and helpful for a broken elbow, they'll likely just add side effects or interfere with anything the vet wants to give.

Perhaps you could reach out to a few local rescues and see if they one of them can help you out, they often have much wider social networks for fundraising than most normal people, maybe they can put a courtesy post for you or something.

Also, FWIW, if it get to amputation, dogs do great with 3 legs

Be careful with weed and dogs. They can't exactly overdose but it does effect them more severely than humans. Many dogs have had a very bad night after eating a bunch of edibles. Many vets out here in the legal states see dogs like this and they don't just lay around giggling or chasing their tail. Do some research and keep the dosage low if you do it.

Also for a fracture you want GOOD painkillers not the kind you can buy over the counter. Those pills shouldn't be expensive from the vet.

This is fucking stupid. IF your dog has a fracture that requires surgery, every minute that surgery is delayed makes the situation worse. Bones are healing wrong and creating a permanent problem. Diddling with painkillers is a serious mistake, get the surgery or get the amputation today or give the dog to someone who can.

I really hope this is just another stupid con.

Maybe try and start a money campaign. When it comes to pain killers its complicated. Carprofen is a dog pain killer but you need to try and immobilize the leg and not letting him walk on it. He really needs to get to a proper doctor other wise it could get really bad x.x
