I grow kind of sick locking through here

I came here hoping to find a community of people who care for their animals and have an actual bond with them, trying to love them and whatnot....but looking through most places here is very disheartening. Am I the only one who feels this way? 99% of posts are about sex and how to do stuff right and while yes, this is important, I get the feeling that a majority of these people have the animal mostly for that. If I'm wrong then please do direct me, but I just feel really out of place here with my intentions.
 
This is a forum that is primarily about zoophilia, so most people here will be focusing on the sexual aspect of their relationship with their animals. So at first glance, it can definitely seem like people on here just own their animals for sex. But that really isn't the case. If you look in any of the threads that are something like "What breed of dog should I get for sex?" You'll find plenty of people pointing out that if someone wants an animal solely for sex, they're getting an animal for the wrong reason. The pinned how-to guides are typically clear in the fact that a person needs to closely bond with an animal before ever considering beginning anything sexual with them. It's very frowned upon here to view animals as tools for sexual pleasure instead of the loving companions that they are.
 
Although there are many people on here that view it as a kink or a fetish, there are also a lot of true zoos on here. I am a person who is deeply and romantically in love with my doggy girl. Sex is just a small part of our relationship, and something that we engage in because we have a loving bond and it is something that we both enjoy. And if she ever decides she doesn’t want sex anymore, or is unable to have it, I won’t love her any less. If you seek out true zoo friends, that’s what you will find.

If I'm being honest I don't really know of any communities other than this one for people like us, my main issue in the post really was that I seem to find a lack of connection between the people and their animals so I just kinda wanted to see how many people I can find like me with a connection

Kind of odd, because theres been an ongoing Dialog between dog lovers and dog lovers here since inception.I suppose its obscured by gamrs and the Dumpster Fire

Your problem is that Zoos that do are far outnumbered by the "Zoos" that watch.
 
to be honest, i originally joined for kinda similar reasons as you did. looking for like-minded folk, mainly seeking some words of comfort after my love died, because the best i got from ppl who are supposed to be close to me were variations of "it's just a dog, get over it". now it's mostly just calling out fetishists.... i got somewhat bitter.

You are new. After a while you will notice that 99.8% of users here are not zoophiles but fetishists. Some worse than other, some more reasonable. But this website is primarily designed for zoo fetishism and secondly for zoophilia. If you want a more zoo oriented website try zoocommunity.org or zoowg.org they are slower and smaller but at least you will have less tendencies to explosively vomit.
 
We do get the "I only wanna fuk this beast and suk that animal" types of people on here. People that are only interested in the sexual aspect of this forum. I've been guilty of making sexualized posts about my Newfoundland girl and I myself, because well... sex is fun and enjoyable for us, but it's also something I don't often get to talk about outside of this forum.

But the truth is that even if my newfie decided that tomorrow she was no longer interested in sex and no longer wished to be touched sexually at all, I'd still love her all the same. Because, while yes, sex is fun, it's only a little extra gravy on the mashed potatoes and gravy that is our relationship. If she cut me off would I miss sex? Of course, I'm a dude. But she would still be my queen, and I would still be her king. I'm in this for the rest of her life, because she really does mean the world to me. Both my doggy girls are cherished family members.
