I don’t get the hate

Just saw a thread on a site where they mentioned people into zoo should be killed. Look, I get it if they hurt animals or force them. But if no one’s being hurt why does it matter? If you don’t want your partner into it cool. Leave. If people got sick from it, ok makes sense it’s bad for everyone let’s not virally Eradicate ourselves .But if literally the human and animal are fine and unforced why does it bother people so.

I think it varies from person to person why they engage in hate, but I like to think a lot of it is cultural programming. The safest way to not put yourself in the crosshairs is to take the most obvious, violent anti-position possible.

It's probably how you get all these USA senators that vote anti-gay bills but then are getting caught on grindr lmao
 
Hateful people are always, ALWAYS projecting their own insecurities. If you see someone hating gays, they are deep in the closet, 100%. Zoo haters want to get railed by an animal and the way they were raised makes them hate themself. No one goes out of their way to hate publicly like that. Like, I HATE coconut, can't stand it. But I'm not going to protest it being sold at the supermarket. ?‍♀️
 
Yeah I've never understood the leap from sex > abuse. Zoosadisfs exist and disgust me but from what I've learned it can be consensual and fun for all parties.

So much assumptions and such little thinking.
 
all you have to do is see it once a girl and a dog together, anyone who thinks the dog is being used abused or forced has absolutely no clue at all
 
I think it’s a case of the taboo nature mixed with animal welfare. The assume that ever case of zoo is done from a place of neglect and hurt and they can’t stretch their imagination to consider that maybe both parties equally enjoy the experience!
 
If a zoo hits the headline, it's usually because they've been caught red-handed with trousers down, or because the animal suffered some injury through the encounter. In the first case, people won't be able to look beyond the "taking advantage of innocent animals" mindset, and in the second case they are - justifiably - outraged by the injuries. Unfortunately, in both cases people will say "zoo", even though anybody hurting animals in the process of their own sexual gratification clearly isn't a zoo.

Point is: the only time people hear about zoo is when things have gone wrong, and in their blind rage they won't see their own double standards.
 
I mean there's a reason for it

People associate zoophilia with "animal abuse". It's dumb, that's not the reality, etc etc but reality doesn't matter so much to most people especially when it comes to topics like that. In their heads they see someone abusing animals, so they want them killed.

Only thing that fixes it is proper education

It is simple, most people find it gross and disgusting and don't care about any thing else jest that to them it should not exist. Jest like homosexuality was not acceptable and to some it still isn't. So they go out of their way use any means necessary to try and stop it. Is it right I don't think it is, I mean it's ok to kill eat and use non human animals as test subject but you better not to have sex with them. Come on can you be any more hypocritical.

People hate and fear what they don't understand. This applies to any person, thing, system, ideology, culture, or movement. If people don't understand it, they want to rid the world of it or abuse it

Like hate with a passion bordering on religious zealously!!!

Sorry.. Never saw anyone state that like that before and just hit me just right!

Although I do really agree with the rest of what you say.. Which is why I really try to not hate on anyone, even if it's something I'm totally not into and would never do (scat play comes to mind as an example) [hork, hork, hork] (the sound a cat makes just before barfing up a hairball)

I dunno.. seems people these days have nothing else better to do than trying to make themselves feel better about themselves by hating on someone else...

Funny thing about zoos, and maybe you can relate (I've read your story, and loved it btw), but I've noticed that anyone that had enough balls to try zoo, understands, and the ones that don't understand are the ones that have no experience...

Exactly.. I don't hate on anyone provided that everyone (including critters) involved was consenting and not harmed..

To each their own. I don't want someone poking their noses in on my business, so I leave others alone.. Fucking with someone else to me is akin to opening the door for someone to fuck with me...
 
I think most people don't get into any of the nuance of it and just assume that the only way to have sex with an animal is by raping it. And sadly there are of course cases of people raping animals, which really messes things up for the rest of us who do our best to treat animals well, while also enjoying consensual sexual acts with them.
