I am getting a puppy... Most likely next year (what a bummer)

In may this handsome guy View attachment IMG_20210522_140646596.jpg got lost and was wandering the town for a couple of hours ending up by my house, weirdly insisting to get into my yard. I had to be with him for another couple of hours, comforting him (nothing sexual, hold your imagination) while i contact everyone i could to find owners (he lost the collar). He was super cute and friendly, wouldn't leave me all the time and always asked for pats. Lovely guy. Story ended well, i found his owners, turned out they were breeders, but it wasn't important at the time.

Here i met many lovely people and encouraged by them, having things explained and my fears taken away (thank you, lovely Vanessa456), i decided to have a puppy to grow and contacted handsome guy's owners about it. Sadly the puppies they currently have are reserved, but i also reserved a male puppy from the next litter for myself!? Can't wait...

Very cool story! I'm excited for you. What kind of puppy will you be getting? I'm currently on a waiting list for a puppy myself, so...I share your agony/excitement for the waiting game.
 
So, a tiny little update. Today I've been contacted by breeders and they said that mommy doggo is finally pregnant. As they said it becomes visible in about three weeks, and pregnancy lasts for about two months. Numbers, calculations, she litters soon after a New year, i guess. And they say they give puppies away in about three months after birth, so... Presumably in the beginning of April I'm gonna have a puppy, who, i hope, will be my partner in a few years ? Hyyype!!! ??
 
So. The puppies are out. A mommy doggo gave life to three girl puppies, I won't have a boy puppy i reserved ?
