How to know when a mare is ready for you

What are some signs that would be a green light to touch a mares vulva? Very curious but hesitant being I don't want to startle her, I'd she's in heat and I had the scent of a stallion on me would that help? New to this any help is appreciated my curiosity is turning into a reality fantasy

First off is she yours, if not leave her alone. If she is yours you'll know she's open to being touched under her tail when she has her tail lifted and is either winking at you or has turned her rump towards you with her tail to the side.

Shes actually my aunt's but I tend to her all the time as she lives just up the road from me so every other day or so I'm there helping with watering, feed, cleaning stalls out but my curiosity has been growing and it's been on my mind, when brushing her I get tempted to touch with my fingers but I get too nervous too. My aunt has 3 horses by the way 2 mares and a Shetland pony (male)
