how to hide sensitive documents?

Hey all,

Might be a silly question that’s already asked but how are you hiding your porn?

I keep mine on my phone and a password program but I’m sure there are better ways…
 
Folder in a folder in a folder in a folder in a folder (etc) on an external. Whole thing's password protected so to access it I have to type a special password that no one would ever guess unless you knew me before my internet days. Computer is password protected with a similar, but different password as well.

Now this is how you do it!
 
I suggest using something like VeraCrypt. Basically creates a file similar to a virtual hard disk for a virtual machine but with encryption (similar to the locked Linux drive but more portable). VeraCrypt can mount that drive like a normal HDD for use then you can unmount it and it’s all locked up.

It’s free and works on Windows, Mac, and Linux.

I’ve used it a few times in the past and the beauty of the encryption is that there’s no need to hide it, but you can if you want to. Just make sure you dismount the drive when it’s not in use.

It can also be used to create an encrypted USB drive among other things.

I haven't had a computer for sometime so I'm mobile. I have an old smartphone and use it for all my forum browsing here as well as my downloads. That way I can keep my daily driver phone clean. Not as secure but both phones are pin protected and neither the same password so it works.
 
Most of it in plain sight, well in hidden folder and protected against deleting, as gf likes to erase them. Here isn't illegal to be a zoo, I'm one and don't have problems with that, so f* it!
Guys f*ing animals are stored in a nonpractical external, hidden inside a maze of folders.
A small collection of not proud off material is on a microSD hidden in a strange place, it will fossilize there after my death. If I don't get rid off it first :unsure:

The disk doesn't have usb so only 2% of the population knows how to open (gf included in the 98%) and has an entire old pc in there. It would take some amount of work to find even by search. She also could track by chasing the stupid size of the folders to the porn one.
But I know that she is too lazy for that and she knows that I have, it's just to prevent her from deleting a 15 year collection, it's a lot of work!! Better to store it in the forum :sneaky:
 
Seconding Veracrypt. Stable, reliable and open source.
MicroSD card with an encrypted Veracrypt container, STRONG password (at least 25+ characters, numbers and letters bothupper and lower case)
Easily hidden and you can get them really cheap now.
 
apologies for rezzing an old thread but this is kinda linked - how are you hiding your web traffic? im currently using VPN and TOR, but TOR is rubbish for viewing media so i was thinking of doing away with it. VPN only okay you think?

If you use a VPN that doesn't keep any of your browsing history and don't post anything too identifiable about yourself (such as how many tattoos you got or your something that is specific to you) you should be fine. Try adding a proxy to that, but that's only if you can.

Do consider that viewing videos might bypass the VPN, but I can't verify if that's the case or not. I'm not tech savvy.

Just a VPN is fine, so long as it doesn't keep logs, and preferably isn't based in one of the 5 eyes, 9 eyes or 14 eyes countries.
Also, most preferable would be a VPN that you can pay with bitcoin or other anonymous payment method.

I keep it in my brain ? but also I have an encrypted usb. The visible volume has regular porn and there's a second hidden volume with my favorite animal porn on it
 
On my phone I have Calculator+ which looks like a typical calculator app, but requires a 6 digit numeric pass code entry which then opens the vault.

On my tablet I have a dual user accounts; one being "Personal Mode, the other "Pervert Mode", both password protected with different passwords.
 
Man, everyone here is so careful, i just put a .nomedia file in the folder where i have porn in my phone, which, well, is a hidden folder.

Also, let me tell you something, I don't think doing that is a great idea, as far as I know it only hides the files, but as it happens with me, if you have a file explorer, anyone with some basic knowledge (or with the same app instaled) will know where you are hiding your porn.

Note: Sorry if something i wrote is not well... Written? Was that the word? English is not my natal language
