How safe is taking the knot (health wise).

Hello guys/gals… I have a fantasy of taking the knot just like I’m sure most of you do and I’m sure one day I will. I was wondering is there anything I should be concerned about? Not speaking physical wise I know the knot gets big and can hurt but more so HEALTH. Is there anything I can get from the dog? Diseases, worms, infections? I know it’s a touchy topic but it’s something that should be discussed more often.

there's no need to "discuss it more often" since there is a sticky-ed topic on the subject in the how to section.

the other reason why there really shouldn't be a need to discuss it again and again is that it should be a given you make sure your animal is healthy, sex or not. it's not just your health.

There are some sites that discuss this and you can find them through a simple Google search. There are some things that can pass, but do the Google search to get the details
