Mentioned this before, but I imagine some sort of early childhood imprinting. Feelings of warmth, vulnerability and belonging associated with dogs, and some innate ability to emotionally communicate with them ?‍. I grew up with a GSD bitch, I’d sleep with her in her kennel from 2-3. She was like another mom to me I imagine. When I came of age, dogs just felt ‘naturally’ most attractive (although I do have normal, happy human partnerships too).

I enjoy the company of animals more than people for some reason.
I can actually feel a connection with them. When it comes to people I just don’t click very well.
Also with animals I feel they care about me more then some family members. Blood only runs so thick

I connect with animals about the same as other people, I’d fall in love with a dog as same as another person.

How did you connect with animals?
Kind of works like USB-C the male jack fits into a receptacle then the information exchange begins in bursts of short transfers. Just in this case the connectors are a bit more adaptable and fit into a variety of female-like counterparts.

That is interesting about childhood imprinting. I grew up with dogs and they were a big part of my childhood and I guess that close subconscious tie continued for me. I see a dog and I automatically feel a connection on some level. Like we ‘know’ each other.

Pet? well I love them dearly but i don't feel attracted to them at all sexually nor romantically so I guess like close family. However my non human partner, well words cannot describe it accurately, far more than anyone on this planet.
