How much control over the situation and your non-human partner do you actually have?

We are sure that we want to involve a male non-human partner so we are preparing ourselve mentally and physically but you can only prepare for what you think is about to happen. But once it does happen, once the dick is inside how much can you actually control? What if he is too rough, what if he is hurting you, what if you change your mind or have to get him off for other reasons, how will he handle the rejection? How much about the pase, the position and all is really your choice? Most of the things you find online, are showing a person on all four and letting him go wild, so is that how it will go?
 
i don't think i have much control once he hits the mark and switches to full speed. then again i'm "a person on all four and letting him go wild" and never had a reason to break it off so who knows.... his dew claws can hurt, but that's usually drown out by other sensation only to be discovered later (like a scratch or a slash on my side).

we have boundaries set up and he respects me (to a point where i can freely take something he's currently chewing w/o objections for example). he's strong and his grip is very tight, but i believe i can stop him if needed.

That is probably how it is in most cases. How about his mood, can you keep him off of he really wants to or does it take alot of training and command to show him when he can and when not?

he knows what "no" means, he will whine a bit but accept it... a "no" happens very rarely. we have a routine of sorts, any sex happens or has a possibility of happening if it's evening and i am naked. dogs are smart and pick up on cues quickly.

there was no training (besides getting him to understand he totally can mount me) or special commands (i try to stay silent and let him initiate) and i highly advice against any sort of training for sex. dogs will do pretty much anything with proper training and training them to perform sexually rids them of their input (consent) on that matter.

first work on your dog's selfcontrol in daily life so he is used to not always getting what he wants asap
