How do you separate loving your pet and goofing around with him and the zoo aspects of your relationship with him?

I’m curious to know how you distinguish between play time and knotty play time with your dog and how does the dog learn to distinguish between the two. I ask this cause my bf and I love dogs by nature and only now just started thinking and wanting to explore the zoo lifestyle further

I do not distinguish between those. My dog considers playing as foreplay. When he feels we played enough, he tries to ask me for a suck. I either accept or not depending on the situation. People do not suspect anything at all. First I know how he is going to ask and I can prevent it before he does or I can say that he is just horny as any other dog. No problem at all.

Honestly he rarely tries to mount when Im wearing clothes, i guess thats how we distinguish it.

Same for my boy! You really need to check what he does before he tries to fuck

My boy learned to give me a kind of whine when he wants some and a nudge. I still show affection like I always do.

My dogs get two different kinds of play. The rough and tumble kind. Where you grab their ears and " WHOS A GOOD BOOOOOIIII!!!" and the other that is softer more like "mmm, who's a good boy? I am usually down on the ground with them for that so that might be how they distinguish.

It has much to do with body language and habit. My boy knows me playing around petting him and throwing the ball is very different from me being naked on the ground with him.
Your pet's smart, if you don't mix both worlds they can usually tell them apart. Doesn't mean there won't be the occasional humping of the leg but you can correct that behaviour as well.
