Bringing up the topic of beastiality? I'm afraid people will think I'm a weirdo and use it against me eventually? How does the conversation come up or how do you approach it and find other like minded people?

Its almost impossible to do so openly without knowing someone completely which can take years. Its a risk. Its all about if you think its worth taking and many people believe it is not.
 
I sometimes joke about it? Like chosing to flirt with animals in a game and my friends are all some level of furry, still I would never actually admit it ?
 
A good way to fish would be to mention it was done in ancient times and was accepted and see how they react or to what degree they reject that.
 
Can I ask why you feel the need to tell people about something so private? I understand wanting to meet people with similar interests and feel like you're not alone. That's what sites like this help with. But I personally don't have irl conversations with my friends about my sexual interests or what I do in the bedroom, regardless if it's with an animal or human. Do you talk to your friends about your desires or behaviors in other aspects of your sex life? This is not meant as a dig at you, just genuinely curious why you feel it's something you need to do or would even want to do.

I have a good female friend and we sometimes talk about oure sex life's, even tho she got a partner.

But sure, in general you don't talk about sex with friends.

I can understand having one, maybe two close friends you confide in, but I read the OP comment as wanting to find out how to openly broach the topic in looser company. I could be wrong, it's just how I read it.

Me: yeah, but a dog would be awesome!
Friend: but you can’t fuck your dog haha!
Me: *stammers through an incoherent response.
 
I feel like beastality is one of those things that is always gonna be hard to accept and would be best to not say to even someone you trust because it's too fringe. Then again who knows, in just a few years the porn industry heavily pushed faux incest and made it popular so maybe just wait until public opinion changes.
