so basically my virgin ass thought i could handle 8-9 inches of an alien-like dildo... i mean i finger it sometimes and use a smaller dildo (much thinner and about 5 inches long, which is all i can fit atm) but i still haven't managed to figure it out. thing is i really hate pain in that area and a lot of the suggestions i see online are "it hurts the first time" what should i do?

What helps sometimes is you push so when you're trying to put that item in as your training your ass or your pussy you push as you're pushing the item inside of you you push with your ass you push with your pussy not hard you just push and as you do that that takes away some of the pressure and then you have to learn to relax too so you get into a certain point stop relax get it into a certain point stop relax
 
I don't usually recommend this, but what worked for me was poppers. It helps relax the muscles in your anus. A lot of sex shops tend to sell it but it can't be sold as "poppers" but as "leather cleaner". It's something that you sniff (for the love of God don't pour it on yourself or drink it!) And it makes you feel flush. There are a few brands I recommend whi h are old English, jungle juice, blue boy, and super rush (must have a red embossed cap to be real for this one-lots of dupes out there).

Never use anything with lidocaine or a relaxant lube because the pain means you've reached a limit. You don't want anal fissures or anything torn and bleeding because it takes forever to heal.
 
I also jumped from a little toy to a massive knotted one that was bigger than anticipated when I first started getting toys. What I ended up doing, was getting an intermediate step, a toy somewhere between the size of the little one I could take and the huge one I could not. A weightlifter doesn't just start with the dumbbell with their goal weight and lift just a little, they start with lighter ones and lift the whole way until it gets easy and they increase for that added challenge.
I know toys aren't exactly cheap, but that's what I'd recommend for training to take bigger.
