how do I completely block someone?

There's a certain user here that's very active, and his posts are really getting on my nerves. Is there a way to hide all posts and threads made by this person, so I can conserve my sanity?

Unfortunately the ignore feature won't hide them completely, but it's better than nothing.

Unfortunately the "ignore" system isn't exactly ideal, It doesn't completely prevent you from seeing the ignored individuals posts and doesn't do anything to the quotes of their posts. The ignore feature also doesn't prevent them from seeing and responding to your posts.

More that I have a very low tolerance for stupid, lucky for me there were dozens of banned members that I could unignore to free up some space.

As curious as I am to know the answer its likely more drama than its worth, Best to leave the name out it. Hopefully OP has gotten an answer that addresses the issue for now.
