How do horses show when they want to do it?

Well, I've learned a lot on my time browsing here and I realized that there's one key piece of info I lack.
So, assuming that in a given point in the future I get some horses of my own, namely a stallion and a mare and we spend time together to form confidence and trust mutually, how do they show that they wanna do it? Consent is indeed important so I don't want to bother them, I of course want it to be as pure and mutually enjoyable as possible so what are the signs to pay attention to?

Mares are not very subtle when they want sex, tails flagged and winking are pretty clear indications they are in the mood. Backing into you and pinning you against whatever is behind you is another sign as well, looking back at you while doing any and all the above is a clear yes she's horny and tired of waiting around for you to get the hint.

Forgot to mention but the idea with the stallion is to pound his donut and milk him, not getting him to do me.
So, any idea of how it'll work with a male?
