Horseshoe Tattoos?

I was just noticing and admiring how popular dog paw print tattoos are among zoos and suddenly thought to myself,

Why don't I ever see horseshoe tattoos on the butts, thighs, lower back etc... on zoos?

I suppose not but I don't think many people who aren't sailors would have an anchor tattoo.

Tattoos have become a fashion accessory these days, so I'd say a large amount of the ink people have is just for show more than significant meaning.
Obviously, there are those that do have telltale tattoos that can be passed off as either a zoo sign or a rememberance of a pet, it's just down to how people perceive the significance behind the design.

One thing to look for other than tattoos, are people who wear jewellery that have animal/paw/horseshoe rings and pendants. It doesn't necessarily mean they're into zoo, but may be a subtle hint.
