This might sound lile a weird question, but were you ever phobic of animals?
Well most of my life I had a phobia of dogs. Even small dogs would make me uncomfortable. A dog barking would start a panic attack. A large dog would make me get out of my way to avoid.
I hated the way they'd stick their snout in my crotch, I always pictured them castrating me.
When becoming sexually interested I quickly realized my interest in sex with animals. This did not delude my phobia though.
Only as a grown man did I (some five years ago) pick up the glove and fight back. Essentially I stopped a dog owner on the street, told him I had a phobia, and then asked for help saying hello to his dog. Just some random dude. And he was only happy to help. Then the next one. And the next.
A whole string of guys and gals later I'd learned a lot about dogs and their reactions and acknowledged that many of them just want to say hello.
I even got my own now.
Just had to tell you all about it. Anybody got similar life stories?
