Has my colt lost interest?

I have had the colt since was born, he is now a 3yr old. He has mounted about 30 times and hasn't found the blissfull caven yet. He recently got out of his paddock and served 3 mares. I was hoping to complete training before this happened. The naughty boy is back in training three times. His nipping is little harder and hasnt mounted even with stimulation. Have I lost hom for good. Any thoughts.

Are the mares yours also?

Yes they are, he has mounted several times since he got out. And penatrated about 1 inch then pulled out. Been showing more affection not nippy anymore hes 5yrs old maybe growing up into a stallion.
