Has anyone had sex with a monkey/ape on record?

If you have some wishful thinking and a dirty mind, there was an interesting written record about one of the ladies studying primates in the jungle.

As I recall it, someone -guy writting the book- went to the camp with her. At a point a furry arm projected from the side and she was dragged by one of the males "showing signs of sexual arousing". He was there thinking what he could do when she just told him "she was ok, she would not be harmed". Then she is cited as adding "besides, thry are not that big"

This was supposed to be published on the first edition, then removed.

Wishful thinking because I can see that happening as described, but likely never came to sex because... jungle, clothes and such. Not likely.
And also, it looks like the right thing to do. If sn ape wants sex and you stay he'll probably just frot a little and leave. If you try to resist, even if he is playful and does not bite, you can count at least on an accidentally broken arm.

So, nice anecdote, but likely our minds run faster than light drawing conclussions ?
 
Fun thing it there *could* have been some odd footage if the producers had been a little more open minded.

Remember those "zoofiesta" (under any other name) series with the two ladies and the... chimp? bonobo? whatever.

It is likely that many people have had sex with a monkey, but there is no video about it. In the countries where monkeys live, few people registered on ZV.

I guess I don’t belong here because most of my “zoo” attraction is of other primates, especially other apes.

At one time back in the early 1980s there was some press about a group in Japan (where it was legal) who was working to have a woman have sex with a gorilla and film it. IIRC I read about it in Playboy. There was a Japanese porn actress who was willing but they were having trouble finding a tame gorilla.

If this is real, I'd be curious to know if she ever checked to see if pregnancy was possible. Bonobos are extremely closely related to us that hybridization is theoretically possible. And yes interspecies STDs are possible, and not just with closely related species. In fact most STDs are not initially sexually transmitted but began as zoonotic infections. Chlamydia is spread from contact with koalas. Non-diet related syphilis is transmitted to humans from sheep and cattle. Human pubic lice came from gorilla lice (that one was probably sexually transmitted). And HIV originated from humans eating SIV infected macaque and vervet monkey meats. HIV has even spread from humans to cats and became FIV, and that was not sexually transmitted. That came from cats biting and scratching HIV infected humans.

There was a study done in the early 1990s that found that human sperm can fertilize gorilla eggs with the same ease as gorilla sperm and vice versa. Prior to that, a study in the 1970s found that human sperm in a laboratory setting can fertilize all ape species eggs without assistance (meaning that the sperm can fertilize the egg naturally and does not require protein removal from the egg or electric therapy for fertilization to occur).
