I recently had a dog abandoned on my property she looked like a yellow lab with a Goldie has the same kind of personality definitely had some trust issues took me 2 weeks to get her to let me touch her Pat her stroke her ears you know treat her like a friend she had to be at least 4 months old at that point I've had her for a while during our first heat cycle I waited it out like I normally should her next heat cycle we're approaching I would say almost a year old and she is horny non-stop I took her to the vet for blood work because I was told I think I read it here that that could be a sign of a very critical issue I told them to run for anything that could be causing her to have a consistent month-long heat cycle it's been concerning me but what struck me is maybe she's doing this because she's trying to please me you know how some dogs have been abused and they'll do anything to get love and affection never had that happen in this regards but I've had dogs that were previously abused in the past and is mostly attention seeking Behavior but not of the sexual variety I don't mind giving her what she wants the blood test came back no hormone issue that is life-threatening like cancer some sort of blood disease or some form of genetic defect they said that she could be just naturally having very long heat Cycles they recommended me getting her fixed I thought about it because as long as it's healthy and helps her live longer I was strongly considering and I don't want to take advantage of a genetic problem to her cost that might hurt her health I also don't know if I could meet with her without hurting her if she's has been spayed honestly I just want to live a happy life regardless even if I never stick my dick in her ever again I just wanted to be happy so I figured I'd get her fixed has anyone ever run into this issue where it's not health related she just naturally horny

I have no knowledge or experience but besides anything genetic or health issues maybe she was being used a lot for sex by one or many humans before being abandoned? Maybe got used to it and now it’s just really fun and addictive to her. If that’s possible for dogs. Just a theory from me
I would hope not from what I've read on the internet too early of sexual exposure for dogs causes a distinct dislike for any kind of human member interaction but then again my experience is limited it's not something I actively look for though and animal rape is something I never looked for nor do I want to it usually gives me a very itchy trigger finger plus I'm pretty sure I was her first mate but you might be right and I may just want to believe that no one did that to her I mean honestly if they did and they turned her into this oh boy do I really want to find SOB's to me it's intimacy thing I could live with or without it but to abuse your dog to that much oh boy I didn't even think about that but it still boils my blood

What does it mean horny? What do she do and when, to what stimuli and how often, for how long?
