Has anyone ever been invited to help someone with zoo like immediately after meeting?

Zooville Settler
I had a female message me last night. And we got to talking about things. And she was wanting help with her and her dog(first time). But it was like she wanted it this weekend. And I said that I would be willing to go and help her. So when I said that I was coming to help her. I didn’t hear from her at all after I said that I was coming. I got about halfway there and still nothing. So I turned around and came back home. I have tried repeatedly to talk to her today and I am not getting any reply. It just seemed like it was all to rushed and the red flags went up to me. Did I do the right thing turning around and coming back home?

You got tricked or she maybe backed out and got too scared? I could see myself doing something like that, just out of nerve or fear of meeting a stranger. Regardless, I wouldn't meet up with someone until:
1. They sent me proof that they do zoo stuff with their animal, time stamped picture with a message and all
2. I had talked to them for a few months or even more
3. There was consistent clear communication.

You did the right thing dude

You did the right thing.
There are so so many bad things that could happen.
Trust has to be earned.
Never meet someone under those circumstances.

Glad you came back home safe. I’m a paranoid one, but it’s always better safe than sorry to call it quits if things get iffy. Especially is they suddenly go quiet. Who knows if they changed their mind or what they may be thinking/plotting.

That definitely sounds like the right way to handle it. Sorry for such a nerve wracking encounter ?
