Friend can’t sign up with proton mail

Hey folks... A buddy of mine is trying to sign up for the site with a proton mail account they just created and the site is rejecting it.

i feel like this happed to me too and I cant remember what I did to get the site to accept my proton mail address.

Cab anybody offer assistance?

When you create a protonmail account, you can choose either the @protonmail.com email domain or the @proton.me email domain. It defaults to the @proton.me domain. You need to create your new email address in the @protonmail.com domain. ZV does not allow you to register with an @proton.me address.

And your first thought is to create a second account, a act that will get you permanently banned along with all other accounts you try to make.
