I have already noticed that the similar cases in the news are practically all about people who are criminal, drug addicts, alcoholics, and perverts. They have nothing to do with zoophilia, there was just a dog that could be fucked.

It tarnishes the reputation of zoophilia is true, but one must also see the good in it, that innocent people are "not" going to prison. The authority somewhat understands that people have had sex with animals since the stone age and are generally lenient. At least that's how it is in the EU.

I've noticed similar things. I was reading a book on Zoophilia and it was going into detail about the negative aspects of "zoophilia" in porn and abusive relationships. However, the book did have a section on the positive aspects as well, citing an example of a documented relationship. If this abusive aspect is the only narrative reported it can make any real debate or discussions incredibly difficult.
