Finding zoo friends in your own country

Hi, I’m wondering how does people go about finding these animals or people in their own country so they can explore more. All tips welcome

I have found the personals section to be uniquely unhelpful. I think people are reticent to be forthcoming given all the laws. But maybe others have had success? I'd be interested in hearing. I recently asked the moderators to remove all of my posts from the personal section. But if I get some good tips here I might go back on.

Nothing wrong inbthe concept of personals.

Just that it ends up being used by "NewJohn NoBackInfo" users just wanting a fast meeting for very concrete actions, so unsurpringsingly, none steos forward to make it happen with people whi have no way to know who the other is or how it works.

It woukd be *very* different if the usual suspects postad an add "I am travelling next week to AnyPlace, ferl free to contact for meeting" and that was answered by other usual suspects where each one has an idea of how they think... and what they really can expect of the meeting.

But of course, those cases they usually have an idea of who is in each place and it is more likely things go via PM ?
At least, the few people I've me in my own country, we all arranged it privately.

Better places/ways to meet genuine people do exist, you just have to find out what works for you.

And you can remove those posts of yours in Personals by yourself.

I didn't realize I could remove them myself. The first one I tried asked me to stay the reason why I wanted it to be removed. Then I read in some thread somewhere a comment by one of the moderators that I should click on one of the personals and report it and ask that all of the personals in that section be removed. So that's what I did. But I will explore on self removal for the future. Thanks for the hint

It is just a note for the system. It will be deleted all the same. Not a justfication fot anyone to decide on it :)

Likely answering to someone with less posts. Until you get the "citizen" rank your edit/delete options are quite limited so they should go the report way
