Female dog organs physiological aspects

Tiralium

Hello. I'm a novice in terms of dog owning

Would ask some questions to more experienced dog owners as for physiological aspects

How is dog vulva appearance can vary between different dogs? Does it have some lets say standards? Like outer labias size/length comparing to body, or vulva back wall size/thickness, etc.? May be it is some article with illustrations exists? I found just text-only articles with a very common descriptions, that don't gives enough understanding for me

Also it is interesting to know, does dog vulva changing its original shape/size after a certain count of penetrative sexual acts with a male human? Or it is always returns to its original size and appearance a while after?

And also would be interesting to know do you do special care for vulvar area. Like it does for skin, fur, ears, paws, nose, teeth?

Thanks!

like on human female, there is no standart, it tends to be that bigger breeds have bigger vulvas

shape/size dont change from sexual act much and it will always go back to normal

the size of vulva changes with age/count of heat cycle over the time mostly get a bit more bigger, sometime dropping down a lil - or while/after pregnant it tends to be bigger (not on all)

short haired breeds look bigger because u see it better

some dogs have their vulva more inwards which can be corrected by vet (because its a health issue when its to much and dirt/pee collects there and create a permanent moist area)

normally u dont need to take care of the vulva are - maybe use baby wipes to keep it clean or tim the fur so it stays clean - the dog will mostly keep herself clean
