Fear of taking the leap into animal partnership.

Hello, I have lurked for a while but never really made an account (social anxiety and anxiety in general) but I recently have worked up the courage to talk with other Zoos for various reasons.

How did you take that leap to explore/experience having an animal lover without fear of discovery? I've had accidental experiences in the past but I've stopped myself from fully communicating even though I'm primarily asexual for humans.

For reference, I'm more of a feminine male that's an bisexual Zoo.

There will always be a risk, but by having excellent online and in person security (lots of great threads on here for that) you can minimize it.

Do you have your own animal companion?

Take your time and go step by step. Don't feel pressured by pushy individuals, Try to find quality over quantity.

Over time confidence build up.

I solved this problem by living alone and having a lock on the door. :D As well as window blinds. And online security solved by using TOR and tails.

I've recently moved to a more rural area with lots of land that's hidden from onlookers by trees and a general "You leave us alone, we leave you alone" mentally that has given me the courage to seek a animal partner.

I've primarily settled on either a border collie or german shepherd but haven't decided on gender yet.

Are you sure you want a hyperactive dog like a border collie? They can be super demanding to keep.

If you've never had a dog, I'd recommend interacting with one before committing. Dog ownership means daily walks, cleaning up after them, having another living being following you around and wanting attention, etc. Sounds very basic and it is, but it's easy to forget it's a big change in your life.

That's indeed a valid concern that I've been advised about by some non zoo friends. I have the land to make sure it can run around and work off it's engery, but as a programmer that would be a breed I would struggle to keep up with tbh.

So a german shepherd, which I've taken care of them previously for a buddy that was deployed, is the higher choice. Ideally I would love a pit but would lose homeowners insurance among other things for simply owning a bully breed.

I've always been around dogs my whole life, primarily golden retrievers and labs with experience of dog sitting a german shepherd for a buddy that was deployed.

I am more than happy to mentor any curious women, who have questions. I am very experienced, have helped a lot of girls get mounted by either their own local pups or mine if they were local to me.

Feel free to DM me. I am easy going, laid back, and def non judgemental.

This person is a man though. Still gonna help him?

Thank you for the offer, but as RSampson pointed out I'm indeed a male. I'm also a virgin in everything, so I want my first time with my future animal partner to be a private and special event.

living alone is a good start also not being into anything weird can make getting caught less awkward if your family walks in on you tied down in a latex suit covered in peanut butter taking a great dane cock would be way more weird than laying naked in bed with a hot panting mess of a st Bernard

I nod in understanding as I read your message. It's definitely not easy to take that first step into exploring our desires, especially when it comes to something as taboo as zoophilia. But fear shouldn't hold us back from living our truths.

One way you could start is by finding a supportive community where you feel comfortable discussing your experiences and desires. This site is one such place - there are plenty of friendly people here who understand what you're going through and can offer advice or just listen if that's what you need. Another option is to find someone who shares similar interests but isn't necessarily looking for a long-term relationship or commitment. This could be someone on this site, another online platform, or even in real life if you feel comfortable enough taking that step. Just remember to set clear boundaries and communicate openly about your expectations before engaging with anyone.

Hey, I can totally relate as a fellow male. I stumbled on it as a teenager, and I found the look of happiness on the woman's and dog's faces mesmerizing, it kept bringing me back. I felt totally guilty and almost ashamed. But, coming back to those pictures, in which both were both were full of joy.

I lurked around as well. I feel like some women and dogs or whichever combinations are just perfect for each other, as long as they respect each other and treat each other well without any coercion or forcefulness.

Just be yourself, but be smart with your trust as people are quick to judge and use these differences to create issues.
