I think the band: "Them Crooked Vultures" made up up a quite unknown gem of a perfect band during the 2000's

Joshua Homme on Lead Guitar, John Paul Jones on Bass and Piano, Dave Grohl on drums, and Alain Johannes on stringed instruments while touring

There hasn't been this amalgamation of talent for decades, and they flew under the radar

I would have Jimmy Hendrix on guitar, Jim Morrison on vocals, Lemmy on Bass, John Bonham on Drums and The Dap Kings on brass.
Imagine what they could create together!
