A few months ago I tried making a homemade fleshlight to insert into my plushy but the socks didn't stretch out enough. Anyone know how to make a better one or should I just save up to buy one lol.

Been there and done that try using less socks.
I would say most Fleshlights are overrated, try searching for "male masturbators" on Amazon, sometimes the cheaper toys are the better ones.

Save up to the high quality toys, they are worth their price.
Don't know anything about fleshlights, but it should be similar to dildoes. High quality > medium quality > low quality > home made.

if you're planning it putting it in a plushy maybe a tenga cup? sorta like a fleshlight, but more or less designed to be disposable so they arent that expensive. if it works out you could use it until it no longer does the trick and save up for something better, like a fleshlight.

by itself? damn near any stroker would be okay. the biggest difference between fleshlights and stuff like the ultaskyn tube from doc johnson is that the hard case of the fleshlight is gonna give some suction, and more sensation. both would likely do the trick though.
