If you're on this website you're probably aware of the dangers of this lifestyle. Sometimes, the fear of those dangers and paranoia of being found out by loved ones can feel overwhelming, and you want to quit and forget you ever enjoyed something like this. I know this because that's exactly what I did. Through full acceptance and mindfullness of my sexuality, the anxiety and fears seem to melt.
I advise meditation, and thinking before acting. Remember, when you question yourself and let yourself fall into paranoia, you're not just putting yourself in danger, but this amazing community around you. Be confident in your identity, even if you aren't out of the closet.
You are not the bad guy.
There is nothing wrong with the way you love.
Be safe, be careful and remember if things ever come out about you, it's not the end of the world.
The people who really love you will stick by you. And the community will always be here.

I second this. With my zoo friends, half a sentence is enough to understand each other, or how deeply anything animal-related can affect you. Zoos also see the double standards on animal welfare, yet we are the abusers...

I think that this is a perk that Z-people develop, an over the mean empathy for animals and humans and a tendency to be kind and to care... When i accepted that side of mine I live more peacefully, i understand more the needs and feelings of people/animals

Beautiful message. Just be careful and do what makes you happy. Life is too short and you never know what's gonna happen. But don't do anything stupid just because of that. Like the other used said above. Do it being respectful, friendly and kind to animals.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the zoo lifestyle. Being kind to all creatures both man and beast is a good thing and there is nothing wrong with the way you love as long as both parties are not hurt and they both gain pleasure from it.
