Minus waste and farts lol, I cant find fault in any of the smells from dogs. Like all things in life its rather subjective. I love the smell and taste but it does very on diet, breed, and age. There was a chesapeake bay retriever from my child hood with the best tasting cum. I had trouble letting him on my back... I just wants to drink him up. My first dog ever was a yellow lab who was way more musky than any dog I've gone down on but like I said for me its all delicious.
I would suggest tweaking his diet. My own dogs eat a raw food diet and from ass to mouth or male to female they have a better all around scent and flavor plus the added bonus of healthy lover and companion.

on a more serious note tho, i might have "bad nose" or something because i honestly have no idea how it smells like or maybe it's just not that noticeable to me (compared to smell of my ejaculate, which i don't like very much for example). my current boy asks for head once or twice a day and i never really noticed how it smells and there definitely were times when we finished and i had some on my face. or he shot me in the eye as i was maneuvering his penis behind him through his legs. it's not a nice thing to have in the eye. or that one time when i had him in my throat almost to the knot and he farted directly in my face.... turns out i do have a gag reflex.

With the exception of one dog, I always had to be deliberate about smelling it. That little guy was super stinky/musky. The others smelled mostly like sea water - salty. I love that smell, so I can't relate to your feelings. If you can smell his cum without really trying, he may be a stinky one. Changing his diet may help, but I wouldn't count on it.
