Dog Chiropractor

Does anyone here take their dog to the chiropractor? I've seen videos of it but am curious about how common it is?

It's not uncommon, you've gotta find a Chiro who is into it. Some states make them practice in conjunction with a DVM, many don't. It's pretty straightforward and taught uniformly so you won't get the wack job disjoint experience of going to different human chiropractors. Nearly exclusively animal chiropractors are DC's who also or focus on equine or canine patients.

Chiropractic medicine is pseudoscience. For curing lower back pain, it's been shown to be about as effective as a massage.
Chiropractic isn't medicine whatsoever, it's separate and distinct.

Go ahead and cite the sources for your opinion on it's effectiveness. Here's a 2021 article straight off Pub Med refuting your assertion: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8915715/

Further, chiropractic users have 64% lower odds of receiving an opioid prescription than non-users: https://academic.oup.com/painmedicine/article/21/2/e139/5575223?login=false

“Reduced odds of surgery were observed for…those whose first provider was a chiropractor. 42.7% of workers with back injuries who first saw a surgeon had surgery, in contrast to only 1.5% of those who saw a chiropractor.”

“Six to eight sessions of upper cervical and upper thoracic manipulation were shown to be more effective than mobilization and exercise in patients with cervicogenic headache, and the effects were maintained at 3 months.”

Ball's in your court, but I could go all day. @EmbraceCorruption where are you?
