Dog Behaviour Changes

Hi all. Not sure if this is the right forum to post in. However i have a question about what happens after youve started a sexual relationship with your doggy.

Are there behaviour changes to look out for after the first few times?

Also what happens if you stop? How does that affect them?

Has been asked quite often, search button is your friend ?

Easy answer:
He discovers a new thing, he may want to explore limits, others or with whom.
So, as in ANY undesired behaviour, a little correction will go a long way. They are fast learners, and intiitive too.

Oh... sex or not *always* be sure you are in charge, you control your dog and have his respect. The dogs (specially big, strong dogs) should *never* be the boss as you should be able to control or stop him if a dangerous situation happens in your day to day life

So half my question was answered. Seems like male dogs get more protective of you.

mmm im trying to word my question better.

If youve had sex for years with your doggy and stop one day. And deny him continously...would that stress him out? Would he be confused as to why you arent mating with him?

What about after making love...are they like humans were we'd need to have cuddles and closeness?

What if you have sex for years and then stop because youve found a human partner? Would that stress out your dog?

I need to understand all things before going in to this life as i dont want to harm the dog's mental state. Im not sure once you have a relationship with a male dog what needs to change or what must be done so we can keep him happy

They don't expect sex, and playing and sex are on the same level to them so as long as you keep doing that its fine. They won't wonder why you stop having sex with them.
After sex some just go to sleep, others want to play. Some might want to cuddle.
Why would you stop though?

As with every other thing you stop suddenly, I suppose. Not really a mental breakdown.

For one you would hopefully not been letting him do -every single time he wishes- but denying it to him every now and then when it is inconvenient to you. Being said "no" is quite usual in the dog world and bitches will say so in no uncertain way and none will take offense.

And for the other, he do not smell "lady dog" so it is more into fun and games department for them. As long as you keep paying attention to him, he will be happy.

As @waarom170 said, it is up to individual.

Ok, that is an unlikely scenario for me. I... sort of have priorities in this department ? (with due respect to other options)

Do not think of dogs as humans. Different mind, more practical, less convoluted.
Just be there for them, they will be happy. ?
