Does anyone know the best way to make friends on here?

I feel like it might just take time, there is some gatekeeper attitude, some fakes and catfish and also just people only have so much time to use the site making it hard for new people but im just hoping that I can learn the ropes and find some cool people on here my self
 
It's not that hard, Just do Like trixxxtrixxx said.
It gets easier eventually. I've already had the opportunity to meet a couple people off here. Just give it a try and have some patience...
 
While I agree with Fun,

There are still those that seek the attention and those that do want to talk about just “that”.

Just have conversations the way you would want them to be and your type of people will get in touch.

Also being a bit forthcoming about what you are after does filter a bit of the unwanted stuff.

Check people’s profiles and past posts to get a feel for how they’re like, what kind of posts they make, if they’re only in the porn section.
If they’ve covered or contributed to some interesting threads.

Also don’t be expecting responses right away. Patience is key.
 
Participate in some forum discussions and perhaps you’ll find like-minded people to DM.

“Be yourself” has always been terrible advice because the reality is that we should be the best version of ourselves that is available. Some people are weird (not in a cute & whimsical way like others) and off-putting and if they want to make friends they have to challenge themselves to be more engaging. A little friendliness and positivity go a long way even if you’re just pretending to be nice. The more practice you have from pretending, the easier it is to be genuine.
 
Idk, some of the best pm conversations came from folks that were mentally unstable in person. I just don't honestly know bud.

I've always felt invisible here. Meh. Is what it is. Met a few in my time but the best ones were from the real world.
 
My general rule of thumb is: if someone is contacting you and trying to get in with you, it's a setup.

So how do you do it? You first get some self-control yourself and YOU DON'T!
 
I think it depends on wym, just friends? Easy just be active a lot, but if you mean in person irl kind of thing, its gonna be a LOT more effort
