does anyone have any experience with shetland pony's?

I might be able to be with 2 of them, but i haven't really seen material for such small horses, does anyone have experience with these types of pony's?

I'm yer huckleberry, thats my game.
Seriously, I had a beautiful Scottish Princess that I spent a large part of my life with. I'm certain I can answer any questions you may have.

I left a message a couple days ago, and thought I would offer again. "Tess" was 100% Shetland shipped over by an American breeder. An incident took place shortly after she arrived that caused the breeder to just give her to my mother. She gave
"Tess Midnight" to me as birthday gift when I was 11 years old. She was a constant companion of mine for another 32 years. I can tell you this much, she was only 40 inches tall and a solid 450 lbs of muscle and tenacity. I have never seen any full size equine that could, accross the board, out perform or outlast that little mare. Not even a Percheron draft horse. Her bloodline in its present form goes back over 4000 years.
Long before there was anything "Physical" between us, I had a very deep and abiding respect and admiration for that little horse. If your contact with one of these mares is just a short time inside a barn? Well, your missing out on the best part of knowing her.
