Do you enjoy finding people online to be intimate with(RP, nudes, etc)? and why?

I wondered, I can see that a lot of man like having this interaction with woman online,
what's odd, and you don't think about it really, is that I feel like for man there is some urge to have someone to mutually masturbate with and like have pics or whatever,
but, when you do it, at least for me, it's not really that of an excitement, it just feels awkward,
it kinda feels like this craving is to have like as close to real life interaction, and we just interpret it as doing that,

but for woman (and again it's all from my perspective), it feels like they are more into RP, to actually make up scenarios and play them out,
I think that even if woman will want to show themselves they would usually be more afraid of having their nudes online,
I can understand the fear of having your pics online, but at this day and age I also think that having your nude online, for either male or female, is not a big deal since there's just so many nudes out there already, so it's like worthless to others(but still dont post with face), the odds of it getting anywhere to the point it reaches your local circle is less than your odds of winning the lottery.

but back to the point, to my surprise I feel like I do enjoy RP a lot more, and I think it's genuinely cause it's more interactive,
funny enough both man and woman feel like they want the same thing but they find different ways to get that intimacy,
yet I have to say I still feel this thing missing to me, this part of seeing each other, even though I know how it gets awkward,
so yeah, I wondered what's your view on it, as whatever your are, Cis male, cis Female, Trans, etc...

I just feel like everyone can learn from this discussion, hopefully we could help each other and ourselves a bit better

I do like RP, but in my case I usually play as an animal and most usually not one of the common species.
I enjoy the idea of having to react to unforeseen consequences of your actions someone else interpreted in a way you did not expect.
Nudes not so much, but I like photography so I can appreciate unusual ideas for this kind of stuff.

This is an interesting question. I have some friends online (here especially) and there are three types of interactions that I seem to have the most.

The 1st is casual conversation and we talk about our day and what we have done and I talk about my Shepard in a general sense. By that I mean I will say I took him on a walk or whatever and if the discussions ever get sexual it is pretty tame.

The 2nd are people who are similar to the 1st type, but they really want the details and sometimes graphic descriptions of what shadow and I do. Shadow is my German Shepard. I know they get off on my stories and in a way that is exciting and fun. To both know they get off and to know that I am the one getting them off.

The 3rd type are the people that I have long intimate and detailed and interactive roleplaying and/or sex chat with. Those are very fun and erotic and can touch on all kinds of topics. Very erotic and very intimate and I like it.

I also roleplay in real life sexually, so for me to do it online is an extension of something I like. I think it can be fun, erotic and if my ‘play partner’ online is good, I will play too and have an orgasm with him.
