Because if something else living or not is fucking you, (could be a machine) then someone/else is satisfying you. Exept your man. Then it would be cheating

I think cheating is the things you and your partner has sat upp rules for.
I can go out tomorrow and fuck three girls when my wife is at work without cheating on her
 
this isn't entirely an answer to the question, but someone I'm close with did consider it cheating if she had sex with me instead of her doggy partner and I understood why she considered it cheating, as she has a very close bond with her bf :p
 
Absolutely yes. It’s coitus outside of your relationship where there’s either an unspoken bond of monogamy, or a well defined set of boundaries between you two.

If you consider having a relation with an animal as nothing more than a pocket pussy, than I guess you wouldn’t consider it cheating.
 
I think it would be cheating. There is a connection that you have with a partner and one of those is sexual. If having sex with another behind that person back, then it is cheating. Just bc the dog (or animal) can not talk and won't say anything does not matter. Couples should be free and open to discuss anything and be on the same page.
 
Seems I agree with the general consensus here. I'd like to be a part of the experience together, not replaced or feel cheated on if I find out it's a secret. He just wants to mount...but then so do many cheaters trying to score. Chances are I'd be okay if it's a mutual agreement, especially a dog over another guy, but I'd like to be a part in some way. If I'm out of town on a work trip, share the moment with me in some way: phone call during, live session, etc. Turn me on wanting you even more for having done it. If I come home from work and you didn't wait for me to share in the experience, greet me by showing him running down your legs with your innocent sexy smile. There's a good chance I'll pounce you right there. I had an ex once that would turn my advances down, and then told me she was curious about going to a swingers club. You don't want to have sex with me but I'm supposed to be happy letting other men? Turned out she was cheating on me. If you turn down your partner for another, human, dog, dildo, in a sense it's all cheating then and to me not a partnership.
 
If your partner doesn't know you're having sex with an animal, then you are being unfaithful to them and you are cheating. No amount of mental gymnastics is going to change that fact.
